One of the changes we did not make, and lived on a daily basis regretting, was that we all stayed in the old marital home. His. The one where the children had two parents, then one, and then the arrival of the Step Witch. It was not a good place to start.

Don’t get me wrong, a great man, loved his daughter to death, fun to be with… sometimes, was, at the time, just lousy husband material, and not right for me. He is a great father and companion. Even he admitted back then, to being a joy without, and not from within.
